RAF and Polish increase static line up
26 August 2016
We have been informed that the Polish Armed Forces will increase their presence during the Malta International Airshow.
The Polish AF will be adding one more asset to the static display in the form of Casa C-295M transport aircraft coming from the 8th Airlift Base that will be supporting the Polish AF flying display teams, the already confirmed Team Iskra and The Su-22 Fitter Demo team. We shall also see the return of an M-28B Bryza coming from the 43rd Naval Brigade of the Polish Navy.
The Royal Air Force will be present this year to keep with its tradition of participating each year at the Malta International Airshow. A Beechcraft B200 King Air from 45 Squadron at RAF Cranwell will be joining the static display at Park 4, Malta International Airport.
This news reaffirms the strong tie between the Malta Aviation Society and the Polish Armed Forces and the Royal Air Force to continue the increase in this year's airshow participants. The MAS is thankful for the continuous support from both air arms.
