15 September 2013
The Island Microlight Clubs confirms the participation both in the static display as well as in the flying display programme.
Microlights are one or two-seat aeroplanes whose maximum take-off weight does not exceed 450 kg. Modern microlights offer superb performance, comfort and above all have a safety record second to none in aviation. Flying microlights is challenging, exhilarating and brilliant fun! Microlight aircraft may be either a weight-shift or a three-axis type.
The Microlight community is growing strong in Malta. The club promotes exciting aviation sport in Malta and provide A to Z instruction leading to a UK Civil Aviation Authority National Private Pilot's License rated for microlights - NPPL(M).
We invite the visiting public to visit the microlight stand to get more information.
