Royal Air Force adds to its participation list
04 July 2014
The Royal Air Force, having already confirmed its participation by way of the Red Arrows (Sunday only) and the Tucano in the flying display programme, has informed us that for static display there will be an additional Tucano from RAF Linton-on-Ouse, a Beech King Air B200 from RAF Cranwell, 2 Hawk T.1's from RAF Valley and at least two Tornado GR4s from RAF Lossiemouth, in Scotland.
The RAF is the only air force that has consistently participated with foreign-based aircraft all through the 22 years of the Malta International Airshow, for which the Malta Aviation Society is very grateful and is yet one more way of displaying the long-standing relationship between Malta and the Royal Air Force.
We have been informed that the Argentinian Air Force, Bulgarian Air Force, French Navy, Italian Army and Turkish Navy are unable to participate in the Malta International Airshow 2014.
