Locally based aircraft in force

Air Malta will be leading the Maltese participants in terms of size of aircraft in this years airshow for the third consecutive year running. Further details of the Air Malta participation will be given in the coming days due to operational commitments.
The Italian AF, Military Mission based in Luqa will also again feature in the flying display with an AB-212 Search and rescue demonstration. The AB-212 is a regular visitor at the event and the Malta Aviation Society would like to thank the Italian detachment for accepting our invitation. The visiting public will have the possibility to see a Search and Rescue demonstration which reflects the daily work undertaken by personnel of MIATM with this type of helicopter. People will be able to understand more the hard work undertaken by the crew on the AB-212 during search and rescue operations.
Diamond Aviation will be participating in the static display with all their aircraft namely, Diamond DA40 Diamond Star, DA42 Twin Star and DA20 Eclipse.
European Pilot Academy will also be participating with three aircraft the Tecnam P2002JF, Piper Warrior II and Piper Senaca II.
The Twin engined Tecnam P2006T will be leading the static line up of the Malta School of Flying accompanied by a Cessna 152 and a Cessna 172 and also a Tecnam P92JS.
Sky People Aviation Training will also be participating in the static display with both aircraft in their flight the Tecnam P2002JF and Piper PA28 Warrior II.
Privately owned Beechcraft V35B Bonanza will also be part of the static display line up.
